PYM NEWS: As the PYM Library is redesigned and moved within Friends Center, surplus metal bookshelves will be made available to Monthly Meeting libraries for a fraction of the original cost.

PYM NEWS: Philadelphia Yearly Meeting’s Library will be moved from its first-floor location to the balcony level of the Cherry Street Room as part of the renovations at Friends Center.

PYM NEWS: Lancaster Meeting (PA) hosted a PYM workshop for Meeting librarians in Caln Quarter to learn more about a website called LibraryThing.

PYM NEWS: There are a number of ways in which all libraries come naturally green. Instead of spending your green money on buying books, you can borrow them for free. Instead of adding one more book to the pile of ravaged trees in the universe, you have helped to save another tree.

PYM NEWS: WANTED: Book lovers to help guide and support the Yearly Meeting’s Library in its “ministry of books.”

PYM NEWS: The main responsibility is to help seekers identify what they need and to get it to them. It is also a teaching position in which new people ask what Quakers believe.

PYM Library provides various kinds of audio/visual equipment to members and staff doing projects for PYM. We provide minimum instruction in the use of video and computer equipment. Please read the equipment loan policy for more information.
