General Services Standing Committee This group of volunteers are a mix of professional and self taught web designers and programmers who provide many hours working on their own and with professionals to create this site. Posting Policy for PYM Website
Philadelphia Yearly Meeting maintains this website as a vehicle for its members to communicate with each other and with the wider world community. Material is placed on the website by the authorization of a Monthly, Quarterly, Interim, or Yearly Meeting or a Meeting-designated representative. These representatives at least include Monthly, Quarterly, Interim, or Yearly Meeting clerks, Working Group or Standing Committee clerks, the Yearly Meeting's General Secretary and any of their support personnel.
Material is deployed by web agents or Yearly Meeting staff that have been give specific administrative rights to either all or parts of the website. Material that is deemed illegal, libelous, obscene, or otherwise offensive to the precepts of the Religious Society of Friends is not posted. Some material considered to be sensitive in nature may only be posted after consultation with the appropriate clerks or staff of the Yearly Meeting.

 Web Working Group Update

The “new” PYM website has been up and running since the beginning of 2004. Clerks of PYM Monthly & Quarterly Meetings, working groups, and/or staff who would like to find out how you can upgrade your current website or get one started please email us at: webmanagers@pym.org
We are also looking for people to serve on the Web Working Group. The WWG meets via conference calls as the need arises. If you are a member or attender of a Meeting within Philadelphia Yearly Meeting and have some web based technical expertise and would like to volunteer a few hours a month helping with the site, or if you would like to help with discerning and developing the policies of the PYM website, please email us at: webmanagers@pym.org
